Summer fruit season is here! We love picking summer fruit, eating summer fruit, and especially finding new recipes to use summer fruit! This colorful Summer Berry Salad is the perfect combination for a great summer lunch! Salads are a simple way to eat summer fruits and vegetables, and it’s also so quick and easy! Throw the ingredients together for a no hassle meal for the whole family.

This summer, we love packing up our salad creations in mason jars! It’s a great way to take lunch on the go, wherever your summer takes you! It’s also easily stored in the refrigerator until you’re ready to eat it. Make food prep simple and spend more time with your family! After all, isn’t that what summer is for?

Mason Jar Summer Salad

Summer salad season is here!

Ingredients
  

  • 3 strips Garrett Valley Farms Organic Sugar Free Turkey Bacon chopped
  • 3 tbsp poppyseed salad dressing brand of your choice or homemade
  • 1 cucumber sliced
  • 3/4 cup strawberries sliced
  • 3/4 cup blueberries
  • 1/2 cup Feta cheese crumbled
  • 1 cup baby spinach
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds

Instructions
 

  • Cook turkey bacon according to package directions. Chop into large pieces.
  • Pour dressing into the bottom of a large mason jar.
  • In this order, add to mason jar: cucumbers, strawberries, blueberries, Feta cheese, spinach (packed), turkey bacon, and sliced almonds.
  • Close jar and store in refrigerator, upright.
  • When ready to eat, shake the jar to coat contents with dressing. Open jar and spread salad on a plate or bowl. Enjoy!
