Peanut butter and bacon may seem like an unlikely duo. However, we’re convinced almost anything can be that much tastier with a bit of bacon. Garrett Valley Farms Bacons are a great way to add that bacon taste you love to meals. Do you like crunchy cookies? Or do you prefer them soft? Adjust the cook time depending on your preference! Above all, make sure they’re cooked all the way through!

Peanut Butter Cookies (With Bacon!)

Heavy on the peanut butter and bacon please
Prep Time 10 minutes
Cook Time 15 minutes
Course Dessert

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • your favorite Garrett Valley Farms Bacon

Instructions
 

  • Cook bacon according to package directions. Take out of the oven and crumble. Set aside.
  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Blend peanut butter and butter.
  • Cream mixture with sugars and salt thoroughly.
  • Beat egg and vanilla into creamed mixture until light and fluffy.
  • Stir together flour and baking soda. Gradually blend into creamed ingredients.
  • Form into 1" balls. Place 2 inches apart on non greased cookie sheet.
  • Sprinkle bacon on the tops of the cookies.
  • Bake in oven for 10-15 minutes or until light brown around edges.
