Looking for an easy but flavor-filled side dish? Look no further! Fried Corn with Bacon makes a delicious addition to any meal. Corn is pretty great on it’s own, but cooking it with bacon just takes it to the next level. Your family will thank you!

This is also a great recipe to bring as a side for a party, picnic, or potluck dinner. It’s impossible to resist that bacon flavor! It’s also easy to make a bigger batch of Fried Corn with Bacon for a larger crowd if needed, without adding much extra cooking time!

For our recipe, we chose to use Garrett Valley Farms Paleo Bacon. This is our sugar free bacon option, useful for those following a Paleo diet. It’s still a scrumptious bacon, just without the sugar you’re trying to avoid! All of our bacons are all natural and antibiotic free. Fried Corn with Bacon

Side dish with all the bacon flavor you love!

  • Place the diced bacon in a large pan. Cook over medium-high heat until browned and crisp.
  • Remove the bacon from the pan and set on a paper towel to drain.
  • Reserve 1 tbsp of bacon grease in the pan. Remove the rest.
  • Add corn, sugar, salt, and black pepper to the pan.
  • Cook for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until corn cooks and stars to brown and caramelize on the edges.
  • Add the cooked diced bacon back into the pan with the corn. Stir until combined. Let cool before serving.
