Cheese Bacon Muffins

It's muffin time.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1/4 cup butter melted
  • 1/2 cup Garrett Valley Farms Bacon Bits

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F. Grease 12 muffin cups.
  • Mix dry ingredients together - flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and baking soda - together in a large mixing bowl. Then stir cheddar cheese into dry mixture.
  • Add yogurt, eggs, and butter into the flour mixture. Stir until combined.
  • Finally add in bacon bits and mix.
  • Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin cups.
  • Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes, until the edges start browning.
