Thanksgiving is getting closer and closer! We are excited for the Thanksgiving Day Parade, family getting together, and remembering why we are thankful. However, all of our Thanksgiving activities revolve around the food! Food is what brings us all together. We all have food traditions that we look forward to. Do you eat mashed potatoes with gravy? Is your family a turkey or ham family? (We highly recommend our Garrett Valley Farms Holiday Hams!) Do you prefer apple or pumpkin pies? We all have favorites. A lot of tables include sweet potatoes. Are they mashed? Do they include marshmallows? Are they baked in a casserole? We have so many options! This year, why not try adding Sweet Potato Salad With Bacon to your Thanksgiving meal?

It’s obvious that we love bacon, so we’re always looking for ways to include it into meals. Garrett Valley Bacon Bits are an easy way to do so! For this recipe, we’re combining sweet potatoes, bacon bits, and spinach for a scrumptious side dish your whole family will love! Start a new food tradition this Thanksgiving!
