Quesadillas are a must have meal. They’re easy. They don’t take a lot of time to make. Plus they’re just plain yummy! The great things about quesadillas are how many different ways they can be made. Specifically, for families this makes life so much easier. Everyone can have quesadillas, but everyone can make their own quesadilla exactly how they want. Make a breakfast quesadilla with bacon and scrambled eggs. Or try a veggie quesadilla with beans, spinach, mushrooms, and tomatoes. Here at Garrett Valley Farms it’s all about the bacon. Our recipe includes beans. We decided to use cheddar cheese also. The fun thing about quesadillas is it’s so easy to mix it up a bit. Try mozzarella or Swiss cheese instead. It’s perfectly fine if you don’t like beans, just don’t include them! Try using chicken or ground beef instead!
In addition to what goes in the quesadilla, there’s plenty of options for dips too. Sour cream is our favorite, but queso and even guacamole go great with quesadillas! Feel free to be creative. Most importantly, don’t forget the bacon!
